Job Title: Regulatory Product Technologist

A highly skilled Regulatory Product Technologist is required to join a global FMCG product testing service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring and delivering regulatory compliance across a portfolio of detergent and home care products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various teams across the business and suppliers to ensure critical path deadlines are met.
  • Log samples on the critical path, ensuring they meet requirements.
  • Execute and manage regulatory activities efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather information and updates to ensure critical path deadlines are met.
  • Implement strategies for labelling and artwork creation, and maintain meticulous document management.
  • Review artwork against product information and provide feedback to customers and suppliers.
  • Physically review and scan packaging against approved artwork, checking for errors.
  • Maintain artwork status on the critical path.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory knowledge and intelligence to ensure accurate maintenance of products in global markets.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience ensuring and delivering regulatory compliance across a portfolio of detergents and home care products.
  • Understanding and experience of critical path management.
  • Good knowledge of classifications of detergents and home care products.
  • Experience in preparation and submission of dossiers, supporting documentation, variations, and renewals.
  • Good understanding of SDS sheets, artwork matches, and various UK, Ireland, and European legislation.
  • Good understanding of product formulation and development.
  • Knowledge of product standards such as CLP, REACH, The Detergents Regulation, CPSC.
