Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Blake Morgan LLP. As a Senior Commercial Lawyer, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale projects and commercial contracts, handling your own caseload, and advising clients on a range of commercial agreements.

Our Commercial Practice has a strong reputation for advising public and private sector clients on high-quality transactions. You will have the opportunity to work with household name clients, network, and contribute to practice development in Wales.

We are committed to supporting the growth agenda across Wales and are looking for a candidate who is keen to embed themselves in our Commercial Practice by spending 3 days or more a week with their colleagues onsite in our Cardiff office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering large-scale projects and commercial contracts
  • Handling your own caseload
  • Advising clients on commercial agreements
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements
  • Supporting other teams with due diligence and ancillary related commercial arrangements
Requirements
  • 3+ years PQE with a strong background of commercial work across the public and/or private sectors
  • Experience in services and supply contracts, manufacturing, distribution, and technology contracts
  • Additional experience in telecoms, data protection, public procurement, and subsidy control would be useful
