We are seeking a highly skilled Production Director to join our team at SRG, a leading biotech and cleantech company in Scotland. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in the successful operation of our manufacturing plant, ensuring seamless and continuous production of green chemicals.

Key Responsibilities:

As Production Director, you will be responsible for the line management of a team of 10+ operators, ensuring performance and contributing to team development. You will also be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing plant adheres to governmental environmental standards and legislation, and that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product manufacture are in-line with these standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, although other regulated industries will be considered.
  • Knowledge of SEPA regulatory standards.
  • Prior experience in operational excellence.
  • Six Sigma qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of PCS7 SCADA is beneficial.
