  • Daily Equipment Checks: Conduct daily checks of all mechanical equipment to guarantee they are safe to use, minimizing the risk of accidents.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles, verifying against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods.
  • Quality Control: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, reporting quality variances to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Book in all incoming stock and store it in a safe manner, ensuring items are placed in the correct locations.
  • Order Picking: Pick and prepare products for shipping, guaranteeing the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility with hours to suit the company's requirements, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
Person Specification:
  • Warehouse Experience: Possess warehouse experience gained from a freight forwarder, manufacturer, or related sector.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Personal Development: Take responsibility for developing your own abilities, seeking opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Autonomy: Deliver tasks and processes with limited oversight from management, demonstrating a high level of independence and self-motivation.
  • Qualifications: Hold a valid Forklift license (Reach & Counter-Balance) and possess good numerical skills.
