Salary: £55,000-£70,000 + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Review RFP/tender requirements and support proposal development, coordinate and assist in the drafting and negotiation of large strategic international contracts, and review agreements and contracts for consistency with laws, government regulations, and company policies.
  • Contractual Guidance: Advise management on contractual requirements and issues, provide interpretation of terms and conditions, and act as primary contact for assigned international and commercial contracts activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify legal, contractual, and financial risk-related issues and provide guidance to management on resolving complex issues.
  • Communication: Communicate contractual flow downs to subcontracts department, act as focal point for contractual communications and commitments, and work with Leadership, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and other disciplines to mitigate performance risk.
  • Proposal Development: Review Requests for Proposals and participate in preparing compliant proposal responses, negotiate proposals within business goals, and document the substance of discussions, agreements, and results.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Commercial Contract Management: Proven experience in a commercial contract management role, preferably in aerospace and/or defence, with eligibility to gain security clearances.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Recognition of contract law and ability to effectively liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and develop solutions to problems and self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing own work to achieve objectives.

Requirements: Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
