Engage Talent Partners LTD is collaborating with a renowned organization in the oil and gas sector to identify a Service Desk Analyst.

This well-established firm boasts a global presence and is involved in numerous projects within the energy industry. You will be stepping into a pivotal role during a period of significant growth and success.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and manage a service desk aimed at assisting users effectively. A solid understanding of IT systems is essential, as you will be providing support for both software and hardware across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical issues on the internal helpdesk and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide first and second line support for all internal IT inquiries.
  • Offer user support for the entire IT network.
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees on company software and systems.
  • Handle support call queries while adhering to established procedures.
  • Ensure the safety and integrity of all IT equipment, recommending upgrades and changes as necessary.
  • Inform the Group ICT Manager of any required software and hardware modifications that could impact company performance.
  • Address technical issues from various global locations.
  • Oversee network usage, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Document procedures in accordance with QA/IMS standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of IT, and relevant experience from education or previous roles. Confidence in using Microsoft technologies and experience in desktop support, both hardware and software, are crucial.

Familiarity with The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and knowledge of Microsoft AX would be advantageous.
