Product Viability Manager - Royal Mail Group

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Viability Manager to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for producing viable data for product improvements, providing regular executive analysis, and managing business unit adherence to financial policy and compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop commercial options on price, cost, and return on investment.
  2. Support the Head of Product Viability Analysis to secure budget for new and continuous improvements to product features and monitor performance.
  3. Develop economic analysis for initiatives on the product roadmap and target operating model.
  4. Model complex scenarios to provide product metrics, trend analysis, and benefits.
  5. Manage the comprehensive composition and viability analysis of customer tender requests.
  6. Provide supportive role in the financial analysis of product market opportunities, sales, trends, and business value.
  7. Provide input to product initiatives, including financial benefit modelling, evaluation of economics, risks, and issues, and commercial viability.
  8. Support compliance to business policies, processes, and standards obligations.

Requirements

  1. Requires expert knowledge of business and financial analysis.
  2. Deep understanding of industry standard policies, processes, and procedures related to investment.
  3. Strong understanding of commercial value-drivers.

Qualifications

  1. Extensive experience in commercial or operational finance on complex programmes, supporting customer, commercial, and product disciplines.
  2. Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent (e.g., professional qualified accountant, business/financial modeler, etc.).
