Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusting relationships with service users, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and welcoming environment, including cooking, cleaning, and other domestic duties.
  • Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Ensure the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe environment at all times.

Requirements

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this alongside the role.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
  • Flexibility to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
  • A passion for working with children and young people and making a positive difference in their lives.
