Mortgage Advisor Job Description

About the Role

As a Mortgage Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert guidance on mortgage options. You'll work closely with clients to understand their financial circumstances, assess their needs, and recommend suitable mortgage products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide clients through the mortgage process, explaining different types of mortgages and recommending suitable products
  • Assess clients' financial circumstances, including monthly expenditures, to determine the best mortgage options
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage repayments and protection to ensure clients make informed decisions
  • Offer general advice on the home-buying process, including the benefits and drawbacks of different mortgage products
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Part CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) or in the process of becoming qualified
  • Strong sales background and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with numbers and explain financial products clearly to clients
  • Target-driven and success-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional results
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Valid driving license and own transport
