Working Hours: 1950 annualised hours per year. This role involves working 5 days a week, with no split shifts and one weekend off each month.
This position is based on annualised hours, meaning your monthly working hours may fluctuate, but your salary will be distributed in 12 equal payments throughout the year.

Salary: £23,838 per annum

Employment Type: Permanent

You'll be part of a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be the kitchen, a vibrant and creative space. You will be preparing delightful dishes from scratch using fresh, seasonal ingredients, adhering to our 'National Trust Cookbook.' Your culinary creations will be served directly to our visitors. You will contribute to fostering a positive workplace atmosphere, providing support and empathy to your colleagues as needed. Our goal is to cultivate a spirit of excellence in service to our guests. By upholding high standards of food hygiene and COSHH regulations, you will help ensure the safety of visitors, staff, and contractors. We will provide you with a tailored induction, training in allergens and food safety, and any necessary mentoring to assist you in your role. Ideal Candidate Profile

We would love to hear from you if you possess the following qualities:
• Experience as a professional chef or cook, with a genuine passion for culinary arts and a friendly, positive demeanor.
• Confidence in following recipes and batch-cooking, with a willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with others.
