Job Title: Associate Director

Cambridge Credentials is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Financial Services Strategy and Operational Transformation practice. As a key member of our team, you will specialize in retail or commercial banking, including building societies, and have significant experience in operational transformation relating to various retail and commercial banking operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with C-suite and senior executives to identify and execute transformation opportunities that add and protect value for shareholders, employees, and society. Our team has experienced remarkable market demand for their core services of i) Enterprise-wide Transformation; ii) Performance Improvement; and we are now accelerating our mission to create value by turning ambitions into reality through executing sustainable, fair, and profitable business strategies, at pace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the identification, pursuit, and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong Strategy Group, internal firm, and external network.
  • Understand risk and ensure that the Firm's risk management frameworks are adhered to.
  • Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360-degree feedback.
The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a detailed understanding of the value drivers within banking (retail or commercial). The successful candidate will have a track record of leading complex operational transformation projects in retail or commercial banking with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting or corporate environment. Additionally, they will have experience of managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.

  • Strong academic track record.
  • Sales and business development skills.
  • Ability to review and assess large volumes of technical data and distill the key strategic insights.
