Role Overview
Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Mentor to join our team at a successful Secondary School in Lambeth. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting high-achieving students in their academic pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to students in their academic development, focusing on GCSE and A-level subjects.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Conduct regular progress assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education.
Requirements
- 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a top UK University in a relevant subject area.
- Strong A-Level or GCSE results in the relevant subject area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of £500-£550 per week, paid on a PAYE basis including holiday pay.
- A full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- The opportunity to work with a high-achieving Secondary School in Lambeth.
