Job Title: Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

About the Role

This is a 10PA post in the respiratory service to cover the 12-month maternity leave of an existing consultant. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with colleagues to provide clinical leadership and contribute to the running of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outpatient clinics and service development
  • Participate in the student teaching rota and administrative duties associated with patient care
  • Contribute to the running of the department in collaboration with consultant colleagues
  • Communicate with local practitioners and support nursing and other AHP members of the team
Requirements

We are looking for a consultant with a CCT or equivalent in Respiratory Medicine, or within 6 months of obtaining this. You will have a wide range of experience in all aspects of respiratory and general medicine, and be able to demonstrate a consistent focus on high performance and quality of care.
