Electrical Maintenance Required

Location: Glasgow, G51 (near Queen Elizabeth Hosp/Braehead Shopping Centre)

Environment: Commercial Building (static)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm

Rate: £20.53ph PAYE or £24.00ph via umbrella (no cis/ltd)

Contract Type: On-going temporary contract

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to maintenance requests within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  2. Technical knowledge of computer room, call centre, and trader operations, including power, UPS, CPS, distribution, and cooling systems
  3. Repair and maintenance of modular UPS systems
  4. Test and diagnose power quality issues, including harmonic distortion, using on-site power analysers
  5. Apply a risk-focused maintenance approach and operate plant and systems in data centres and critical environments
  6. Provide emergency response standby and call-out services
  7. Escalate urgent issues to the Technical Services Manager
  8. Respond to work interruptions, outages, or emergencies in accordance with SLAs
  9. Ensure all critical engineering maintenance documentation and records are up-to-date
  10. Advise the Facilities Management Team of changes in critical environment requirements
  11. Be willing to work beyond contractual hours as needed
