About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering new business sales in the B2B sector, with a strong understanding of corporate and public-sector clients. You will be responsible for:
- Providing prospective customers with a consultative solutions approach.
- Conducting highly prepared and professional client meetings to generate new business.
- Presenting tailored demos, data insights, business case summaries, and sales proposals.
- Following up on leads generated by our in-house marketing team and partners.
- Collaborating with the business development team to secure more meetings.
- Utilizing Salesforce CRM and other tools to track contacts and generate new opportunities.
- Submitting monthly reports and sales forecasts; actively participating in monthly sales meetings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 5-year proven track record in delivering new B2B sales in any sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in selling to corporate and public-sector clients.
- Proven sales expertise using approaches such as MEDDIC or Challenger.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- High integrity, intelligence, passion, and energy.
- Reside within a 1-hour drive of Reading, Berkshire.
