The Sales Recruitment Network is seeking a skilled Practice Accountant to join their team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Process around 300 payrolls, including sole directorships, each month.
- Payroll Management: Manage approximately 50 payrolls for companies with 2-10 members of staff.
- VAT Returns: Prepare VAT returns using Excel.
- Financial Filings: File confirmation statements when they fall due.
- Accounting Software: Utilize Xero for financial management.
- Account Preparation: Produce accounts up to trial balance, including fixed asset reconciliation, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
- Account Filings: File accounts at Companies House.
- Account Submissions: Submit accounts via Sage.
- Tax Returns: Prepare personal tax returns mainly for subcontractors in the CIS industry.
- Director Compensation: Process director salary and dividend, which will then be reviewed.
