Main Responsibilities:

  • Support individual pupils to develop positive self-regulation skills
  • Manage challenging behaviour following the school's approach
  • Deliver planned interventions
  • Ensure pupil safety and welfare is maintained at all times
  • Feedback to SENDCo/class teacher

Essential Criteria:

  • Prior experience working with young people who have additional needs
  • Ability to build trusting relationships
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to adapt and use own initiative
  • Patience and resilience

Desirable Criteria:

  • Team Teach training/experience
  • Education/Teaching Assistant qualification
