Job Title: Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

LTM Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and specify applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes
  • Survey, test, and report on existing electrical/mechanical installations
  • Specify activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing confirm to functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Make day-to-day decisions on project progress and direct liaison with clients
  • Represent the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams, and contractors
  • Carry out engineering calculations to ensure drawings meet required robust industry and legal standards
  • Responsible for technical content and accuracy of Trainee, Graduates, and Engineers
  • Competent in specification design/drawing for several building types
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to use IT-based calculation and spreadsheet software

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer or working towards
  • Educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience
