A Quality Assurance professional with previous experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is required to join a growing manufacturing business.


We seek a dynamic candidate looking for a role where they can develop their career, who has a proven background in driving their own projects and implementing effective procedures and change.


The role will include the following:


  1. Overseeing the quality function from raw material to delivered product
  2. Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (internal, supplier, customer)
  3. Support new product introduction undertaking full APQP including FMEA, MSA, PPAP & SPC
  4. Implement and manage Six Sigma core tools (PFMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC)
  5. Ensure compliance in line with IATF16949/ISO9001
  6. Lead quality audits
  7. Implement quality management system improvements
  8. Deliver training as required
  9. Undertake supplier and third-party audits
  10. Investigate non-conformance, undertake 8D / root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

Key skills:


  1. Confident experience in managing quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  2. Working knowledge of IATF16949
  3. Fully conversant with APQP
  4. Internal and supplier auditing experience
  5. Excellent investigative, questioning, and communication skills
  6. Experienced in Lean Manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma
  7. Hold a minimum HNC in mechanical engineering or similar
  8. Be seeking a role where you can develop
  9. Happy to undertake occasional travel overseas
