Trainee Estimator Position

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Trainee Estimator to join their commercial team due to continued growth in their operations.

As a Trainee Estimator, you will be working closely with the estimating team and the wider business development team to develop tender submissions, master project details, and deliver accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to develop comprehensive tender submissions
  • Master project details and client requirements to deliver precise estimates
  • Input measurements, specifications, and generate detailed quotes
  • Analyse critical variables to determine costs and estimates
  • Prepare scope documentation, including visual information in 2D and 3D format
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
  • Collect data on diverse costs to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate in Construction-related degree or Estimator with 1+ years' experience
  • Outstanding numerical skills to ensure precise estimations
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Good people skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people
  • Previous experience in a similar role, showcasing expertise in estimating
Benefits:
  • Salary £25,000 to £35,000 DOE
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
