About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ward Clerk at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clinical staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the ward team, including general administration, answering queries, and responding to requests.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including patient information and medical notes.
  • Coordinate and book appointments, transport, and other services as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Requirements

  • NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • GCSEs A-C or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Previous experience working in a clerical environment.
  • Desirable: experience within the NHS.
