Senior Risk Underwriter - Property and Liability
In the role of Senior Risk Underwriter, you will engage closely with a select group of brokers to enhance profitable growth from various accounts. Your key responsibilities will encompass the execution of diverse underwriting strategies, nurturing relationships, and fostering business opportunities.
This position emphasizes both new and existing business within our established frameworks and risk appetite. You will predominantly collaborate with your broker network to pinpoint, negotiate, and secure new business, while also making informed underwriting choices.
Typically, you will manage cases with premiums ranging from £15,000 to £100,000 as the Senior Risk Underwriter.
About You
Ideal candidates for this position should possess experience in the property or liability/casualty sectors, whether from an insurance firm or a brokerage background. However, we welcome applicants with insurance expertise in other domains or related fields such as claims or customer service.
This role serves as an excellent entry point for a career in insurance and is particularly suited for individuals with strong customer service and relationship management skills.
