Position Overview:
Are you seeking a role that offers a competitive wage starting at £13.00 per hour? We are in search of a Hygiene Operations Specialist to enhance our Hygiene team. At Avara Foods, we pride ourselves on providing a secure and progressive workplace where your efforts and successes are acknowledged.

- £13.00 hourly wage
- Additional £2.00 shift premium for night hours (18:00 - 06:00)

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 22:00 to 07:00.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Hygiene Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supervising the shift, ensuring team members are well-trained to meet job expectations. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing environment where maintaining hygiene standards is paramount.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing guidance to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed to the required standards.
- Conducting post-cleaning audits and offering constructive feedback to the team.
- Training the hygiene team on cleaning protocols and ensuring adherence.
- Understanding and complying with health and safety regulations.
- Following COSHH safety guidelines when handling chemicals and ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintaining daily documentation.
- Performing high-level cleaning tasks using specialized equipment.
- Facilitating effective handovers between shifts to ensure smooth communication with production and engineering teams.
- Providing coverage for the Process Leader as needed.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A good command of English and basic numeracy skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to tasks.
- An understanding of hygiene practices and health and safety protocols.
