Customer Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Plus One Recruitment. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Processing: Complete order processes, liaising with other departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Customer Queries: Answer telephone and email queries regarding stock, technical enquiries, invoices, and other customer questions.
  • Sales Support: Support sales teams with their account management.
  • Bespoke Orders: Monitor and control bespoke orders with specific customer requirements.
  • Credit Processing: Deal with credit processing and claims.
  • Delivery and Invoicing: Manage customer queries about deliveries, invoicing, and any courier delays/issues.
  • Internal Liaison: Liaise with other departments to resolve customer queries such as technical issues, returns, dispatch, and trading.
  • Payment Processing: Ensure all customer payments are completed accurately.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete general administrative and ad-hoc tasks.
  • CRM Management: Ensure all details and notes are kept updated on the internal CRM system.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience within a customer service or sales role.
  • Numeracy and Literacy: Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Microsoft Applications: Experience using Microsoft Applications; Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving, organisation, and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers.
  • Initiative and Organisation: Demonstrated ownership, initiative, organisation, and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude for self-development.
Additional Information:
  • Working Hours: Office based: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm & 9:00am-5:30pm, Fridays 8:30am-4pm or 9:30am-5pm.
