Harris Hill is partnering with a renowned charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals working in horticulture. We are seeking a skilled Caseworker to join their team in the South West region.
About the RoleThe Casework Team at this charity provides vital support services, including advice, information, and guidance, to individuals working across the horticulture sector. The team delivers holistic assessments, measures the impact of interventions, and offers advice on employment, money confidence, housing, social care, benefits, and health systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments across outcome areas, including health, wellbeing, self-care, housing, money, family, relationships, safety, and crime.
- Measure the effectiveness of interventions delivered by the team.
- Provide advice to individuals on employment, money confidence, housing, social care, benefits, and health systems.
- Deliver a telephone helpline or advice service in the community or in service users' homes.
- Scrutinise complex information to produce concise reports, comprehensive case records, and high-quality casework and associated correspondence.
- Develop strong communication skills, including discretion and the ability to deal efficiently and effectively with individuals experiencing traumatic or difficult circumstances.
- Interact and network with line managers, colleagues, volunteers, partner organisations, external agencies, and service users.
- Work flexibly across geographical regions as required.
