The South West region is seeking a skilled and experienced Local Organiser to join its Central Team based in Dorset. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting branches to recruit new members, develop activists, and drive forward campaigning work across the region.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and IT skills, as well as strong administrative and organisational abilities. A good understanding of the trade union movement and its principles is also essential.
As a Local Organiser, you will be responsible for travelling within the region to support branches and attend meetings as required. You may also be required to attend training sessions in London.
