Job Summary

The Senior Internal Auditor is a key member of our team at Thorpe Molloy McCulloch Recruitment Ltd, responsible for delivering and conducting internal audits to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance. This role involves collaborating with our clients to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective internal controls.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing audit plans, including risk assessments and audit procedures.
  • Collaborating with our clients to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective internal controls.
  • Providing recommendations to our clients on how to improve their internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Leading or participating in internal audit engagements, and providing guidance and support to our clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in internal auditing, with a strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance principles.
  • Relevant experience in auditing, with a focus on risk management and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with our clients and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder relationships, including senior management and board members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the oil and gas sector, or a related industry.
  • Relevant experience in PowerBI and other data analytic techniques.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting management reports to senior management.
