Job Title: Production Technician - Assembly

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician - Assembly to join our team in Leeds, United Kingdom.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assemble pump packages, including components and sub-assemblies, based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections to ensure all assemblies meet established standards.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate assembly equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets, resolve assembly issues, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
  • Document and report any defects, discrepancies, or issues encountered during the assembly process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a production or assembly role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes, particularly in the assembly of complex pump systems or similar equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, assembly equipment, and machinery.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving collective goals while maintaining safety standards.
