Our client, a leading manufacturer of automated machinery, is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls and Automation Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the technical team, you will be responsible for programming and integrating PLC control systems for robotic machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement PLC programming and software controls for robotic machinery
- Upgrade and modify existing control systems to meet specifications
- Provide on-site installation and commissioning support for customers and field engineers
- Offer remote and on-site technical support for customers and field engineers
- Participate in project work as required
- Excellent PLC programming skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of robotic machinery
- Experience with KUKA controls is beneficial
- At least two years of experience in a similar role
- Recognised electrical engineering qualification
- Competitive basic salary of £60K
