Job Summary:

Halcyon Health & Social Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join their team in a children's residential care setting. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective running of the home, working closely with the management team to promote the welfare of the young people in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in ensuring the safe running of the home on a day-to-day basis
  • Oversee and supervise the key working and case management of the children and young people in your care
  • Work closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager to maintain and develop robust quality assurance processes
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a children's residential setting
  • Either studying for or having obtained an NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce
  • Desirable: UK driving license and car for occasional use
