Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at TVS Supply Chain Solutions. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Perform stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies to prevent stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder stock as necessary to prevent stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure that stock is stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.
- Organize and manage the layout of the warehouse to optimize stock storage and improve efficiency.
- Label and identify all stock locations within the warehouse for easy retrieval.
- Regularly check all stock locations to ensure correct stock placement and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare reports on stock levels, stock movements, and any stock discrepancies to inform business decisions.
- Provide regular updates to the Site Operations Manager on stock status and inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience using stock management software or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
