Our Water Engineering team boasts around 670 experts across the UK & Ireland, working on a diverse portfolio of water programs and projects. You'll have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from small initiatives to large-scale ventures, and develop your skills as a technical expert.

As a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading and reviewing the design of mechanical elements in wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects. You'll also produce and review client deliverables, ensuring they meet relevant standards and procedures.

We're looking for a candidate with a BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering and experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables. You should also have experience managing projects, delegating tasks, and technical mentoring within water and wastewater.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and review the design of mechanical elements in wastewater and water infrastructure treatment projects.
  2. Produce and review client deliverables, ensuring they meet relevant standards and procedures.
  3. Support the preparation and management of bids using internal systems and operations.
