Job Title: Agency Chemotherapy Nurse

Leaders in Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team. As an Agency Chemotherapy Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Agency Chemotherapy Nurse to work with our agency, providing temporary contract services as an agency nurse. The successful candidate will have experience in oncology, haematology, or chemotherapy and will be able to provide a range of treatments, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to oncology patients in their own homes
  • Administer a range of treatments, including bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and more
  • Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements:
  • Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
  • Cannulation & Venepuncture experience
  • Driving Licence
  • SACT Passport, or equivalent qualification
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £43 - £48 per hour (based on experience)
  • Mileage expenses
  • Monday to Friday role
  • Approx. 8 hrs per day
  • Working 4 or 5 days per week
  • No bank holiday working
