About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our education team as a Community Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored education programs to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide support and guidance to young people in a community setting
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new education programs and initiatives
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.

You will also have a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in these areas.

Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Good ICT skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
