Head of Financial Performance and Planning

A leading media and entertainment business is seeking a highly commercial and influential Head of Group Financial Planning to join a world-class finance team.

This role will play a key part in the group's commercial strategy, supporting, advising, and challenging the business. The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor and storyteller, providing clear reporting and analysis that drives future decision-making and value creation.

The Group FP&A team has exciting plans to redefine corporate reporting and analysis across the entire business. The right person for this role will have experience in advisory, investment banking, M&A, and transaction services/corporate finance from a business consultancy or Big 4 environment.

Key responsibilities will include building and recruiting a world-class FP&A function, providing a platform to influence high-profile initiatives, and working closely with the CFO and senior decision-makers across the business.

Requirements include:

  • Experience in advisory, investment banking, M&A, and transaction services/corporate finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build trust and advocacy with the business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
