Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Rotork. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous improvement of engineering tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within our Leeds factory.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, implement, and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout.
  • Participate in audits, technical support, and problem investigations/resolutions, with a view to suggest new processes and equipment where applicable and appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Experience/awareness using any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Awareness of techniques like Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Worked within an engineering production environment.
  • Mechanical bias.
  • Relevant degree or apprentice-trained with experience.

**Ideal Candidate**

  • Approachable and able to communicate effectively.
  • Happy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.
  • Organized with a keen eye for detail.
