Wincanton is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead and motivate our team at our Doncaster TRIPP contract site. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position offering 37.5 hours per week.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of warehouse management, from overseeing daily operations to implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
  • Safety First: You will champion a culture of safety, ensuring that all team members adhere to strict health and safety protocols. Your leadership will set the standard for a secure and productive work environment.
  • Team Leadership: You will guide, coach, and develop your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work atmosphere. Your ability to motivate and empower individuals will be crucial to achieving operational excellence.
  • Operational Efficiency: You will oversee all warehouse functions, optimizing processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. Your focus on continuous improvement will drive ongoing enhancements in our operations.
  • Inventory Management: You will ensure the accurate tracking and management of inventory, implementing robust security measures to protect assets. Your attention to detail and adherence to procedures will be essential for maintaining a secure and organized warehouse environment.
  • Performance Monitoring: You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Your data-driven approach will ensure that we consistently meet or exceed operational targets.
Your Skills and Experience
