Position Title: Warehouse Operative

Overview:
The Warehouse Operative plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our delivery services. This position involves accurately selecting and preparing customer orders from a diverse inventory of over 1500 products, including kegs, packaged beverages, wines, and spirits.

Main Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

  • Efficiently picking orders and ensuring they are placed in designated areas for delivery;
  • Reporting any stock discrepancies to the supervisory or inventory control teams;
  • Complying with health and safety regulations at all times;
  • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, such as safety boots, gloves, and high-visibility vests;
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse;
  • Promptly storing new stock in the correct locations, ensuring it matches the delivery documentation;
  • Assisting with weekly stock audits;
  • Participating in monthly inventory counts as needed;
  • Adopting a flexible approach to work assignments;
  • Supporting drivers as a second person when required.

  • Strong prioritization skills to manage workloads effectively;
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities;
  • A solid understanding of product offerings;
  • A Flexi FLT license is advantageous.
