Job Description

Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer - Corporate Finance

Job Summary:

Ruskin Mill Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and producing period close reports for each entity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and produce period close reports for each entity.
  • Deputise for the Finance and Payroll Manager with regards to payroll processes and responsibilities in event of their absence.
  • Keep up to date with payroll legislation, ensuring that RMT and its subsidiaries maintain compliance at all times.
  • Adhere to HMRC rules and manage submissions to HMRC on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Provide support to the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent on a monthly basis and information is kept up to date.
  • Manage the process of attachment of earnings with local councils, ensuring that employees are aware of the impact of any instructions received.

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll processing and management.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC rules.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
