Job Title: Senior Payroll Officer - Corporate Finance
Job Summary:
Ruskin Mill Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and producing period close reports for each entity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for up to 11 companies and produce period close reports for each entity.
- Deputise for the Finance and Payroll Manager with regards to payroll processes and responsibilities in event of their absence.
- Keep up to date with payroll legislation, ensuring that RMT and its subsidiaries maintain compliance at all times.
- Adhere to HMRC rules and manage submissions to HMRC on a monthly and annual basis.
- Provide support to the payroll officer in ensuring pension submissions are sent on a monthly basis and information is kept up to date.
- Manage the process of attachment of earnings with local councils, ensuring that employees are aware of the impact of any instructions received.
Requirements:
- Experience in payroll processing and management.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and HMRC rules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
