About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at InHealth Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out magnetic resonance imaging procedures to best practice standards of radiographic techniques, ensuring high-quality images to support patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient experience, supporting patients through the MRI scanning process from referral to results.
  • Run quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action to maintain optimal performance.
  • Respect and work within patients' and service users' customs, values, and spiritual beliefs, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Perform triage functions of referrals, as required, to ensure timely and effective patient care.
  • Support patient bookings and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information systems.
  • Complete competency assessments to demonstrate expertise and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Share knowledge and clinical experience with the wider team to support each other's growth and development.
Requirements
  • BSc Radiography or equivalent, with a strong understanding of fundamental MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body and holds a valid registration, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Proven knowledge of the requirements of a radiographer's role regarding patient care, careers, and colleagues, with a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work.
  • Aptitude towards improving quality, with a flexible approach to work and ability to work across 7 days.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, with a strong team player attitude, being supportive, caring, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles, and GDPR, with a positive attitude and passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Desirable Experience
  • Working with MRI equipment in a hospital or mobile setting, with experience in basic and routine MRI examinations.
  • Scanning with contrast, or enthusiastic to learn, with a strong understanding of health and safety policies and procedures with imaging equipment.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team, with experience in different courses such as infection control training, manual handling, and basic life support.
