Oasis Academy Long Cross is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist resource base. Our provision caters to children with severe and complex learning needs, including autism.
You will be part of a supportive and dynamic staff team, working with children who have Education and Health Care Plans.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individual children or small groups, helping them achieve progression targets.
- Lead the class at times and develop your skills in delivering curriculum areas.
Our Approach:
We offer a pedagogy focused on the child, high-quality teaching through an exciting curriculum, and opportunities for professional development. Our team collaborates closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent and inclusive provision.
What We Seek:
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator with experience working with children with special needs. A qualification in NVQ3 or equivalent is preferred.
Oasis Academy Long Cross is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate must have fluent spoken English and pass an enhanced DBS check.
