Job Summary

As a Street Maintenance Worker with JOB SWITCH LTD, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of public spaces. This role involves driving, litter picking, bin emptying, and removal of flytips.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving and operating vehicles to transport equipment and personnel
  • Litter picking and maintaining public spaces to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Emptying bins and removing waste to prevent litter and odors
  • Removing flytips and other forms of litter from public spaces
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting with the public in a professional manner
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes
  • Operating vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Participating in multi-point driving activities and waste & recycling collection driving duties
  • Assisting with customer contact and knowledge of personnel safety issues in a customer environment
  • Participating in H&S systems and maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Considerable experience and a working knowledge of waste and recycling collection activities and processes
