Senior Staff Nurse

Job Overview:
Cromwell Hospital, a leading private healthcare provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Adult Intensive Care Unit team. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care for critically ill adults in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for patients being discharged to hospital wards or referred hospitals.
- Act as an effective role model and mentor, supervising junior staff and unqualified staff in all aspects of care.
- Participate in audits, projects, local teaching programs, and development planning.
- Disseminate new information regarding new or updated clinical practices, guidelines, and policies to all nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Active Adult General Adult NMC pin.
- Current nursing experience in Critical Care.
- Desire to develop both professionally and personally.
- Team player abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ICU/Mentorship Course would be advantageous.
