Job Title: Locum Employment Lawyer

Location: Home Counties, with predominantly remote working

Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella, depending on experience level

Duration: 3 months +, with a strong likelihood of extension

Working Hours: Full-time or part-time hours considered

Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, with occasional tribunal attendance

This is an excellent opportunity for junior lawyers or newly qualified solicitors to apply, with a strong focus on Employment Law and previous experience in the Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive Employment Law advice and guidance to clients
  • Acting on behalf of the Local Authority and external clients to deliver Employment Law services
  • Advising on conduct, capability, and redundancy procedures, as well as relevant Employment Law legislation
  • Preparing, managing, and undertaking advocacy work for Employment Law cases

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and previous experience in the Public Sector
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
