Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brief and Debrief Drivers: You will be the first point of contact for all drivers, ensuring all queries are addressed and feedback is provided to the team.
  • Operational Excellence: You will be accountable for ensuring Legal O Licence compliance and operational excellence, including planning and delivery, cost, and service.
  • Customer Care: You will provide the highest level of customer care, finding resolutions to live issues and escalating them to the Team Manager as needed.
  • Route Monitoring: You will monitor all routes to ensure they are running on time and escalate any issues to the Team Manager.
  • Time Management: You will effectively manage your time to complete tasks within the set timeframe, using Trutac and Microlise software to identify exceptions and schedules.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will conduct daily administrative tasks related to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays, and other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Google Drive/Excel/Microsoft Word Experience: You will have experience with Google Drive, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Transport Management Systems: Experience with transport management systems is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: You will be polite and professional, with excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork: You will be able to work effectively as a team player, supporting and recognizing the need for support, and working on your own initiative.
  • Relationship Building: You will build and maintain positive external relationships internally within the team, member depots, and other logistics staff.

Desirable Experience:

  • Administration Experience: Ideally, you will have experience in administration in a busy transport environment.
  • PC Literacy: You will be PC literate.
  • Attention to Detail: You will have great attention to detail.

Training: Training is provided to ensure your success in this role.
