About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Deben View in Woodbridge, Suffolk. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
  • Support customers with temporary or terminal illnesses, and help them to maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Assist with light domestic duties, such as bed making and laundry, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage customers in social, physical, and mental stimulation activities, such as hobbies and recreation, to promote their well-being and quality of life.

As a Care Assistant, you will be a great listener with a caring and supportive attitude, and you will focus on the individual needs of each customer.

Requirements
  • A Care Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
