About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Intec Select. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of our organisation's services and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex infrastructure systems, including servers (Windows), virtualisation (Hyper-V), storage, networks, and cloud environments (Azure)
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion
- Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the business
Requirements:
- Previous experience with infrastructure including Hyper-V and physical servers (Windows)
- Proficient with Windows server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Failover Manager
- Demonstrable experience with implementation of and backup maintenance (Veeam)
- Experience with on-site data centre maintenance and management
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network devices such as Firewalls (Palo alto/Cisco ASA), Switches, WiFi and Routers
- DR implementation and regular testing
- Hardware and software patching/firmware upgrades
- Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/MCSA/AZ-700/900 etc
- Microsoft Dynamics or Power BI experience
