Job Summary

The Financial Controller will be responsible for the overall financial management of the Bath site, ensuring that the factory's financial performance aligns with Rotork's Growth+ Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accurate reporting of all site management and statutory accounts.
  • Develop and examine business forecasts, QPRs, and AOPs.
  • Manage the financial impact and outcomes of various business or commercial issues.
  • Identify control weaknesses and suggest actions for improvement.
  • Lead the local finance team at Rotork Group's largest plant.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Hold a recognized professional finance qualification.
  • Proven leadership experience with direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Experience in Accounting for Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and familiar with financial consolidation tools (SAP BPC, Hyperion).

  • Understand risk management and progress business practices to reduce risk while improving performance levels.
  • Organized and able to manage numerous challenging tasks while developing collaborative business relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Coaching style to enable team members to continually develop.
