Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join our team at JMC Legal Recruitment. As a Senior Associate/Team Leader, you will be responsible for heading up the Corporate Commercial team in Essex, advising on high-value, strategically important nationwide and international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a busy caseload of corporate commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, disposals, joint ventures, incentives and liabilities, shareholder agreements, and general commercial contracts.
  • Supervise junior fee earners and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice to meet their objectives.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Corporate Commercial team, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of PQE in Corporate Commercial law.
  • Proven track record of managing a busy caseload and delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ambitious and motivated individual with a desire to grow and develop within the business.
