KP Aviation, a leading international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets, is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, managing, and developing strong relationships with customers to initiate and facilitate the sale of airframe and engine parts to airlines, Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations, and other aviation-related companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a lead point of contact for customer account management matters, establishing and developing long-lasting customer relationships.
- Sales and Business Development: Make outbound sales calls to facilitate the sale of material, increase customer base through outbound contact of end-users based in company-specified platforms, and develop profitable accounts that regularly meet the owned account requirements of the company.
- Quote Management: Provide responses to requests for quotes and conduct daily follow-ups on existing quotes.
- Order Management: Manage the Open Order Report on a daily basis to communicate with internal and external parties, assist with order processing, expediting, and status updates.
- Market Research and Analysis: Identify and assist with market research projects to better understand the business needs of customers, as well as market and industry trends.
- Purchasing and Consignment Opportunities: Identify purchasing and consignment opportunities with existing customers, in addition to opportunities to sell aging inventory.
- Inventory Management: Manage/identify material for repair and communicate with repair team with repair vendor, approximate cost, and any engineering/modifications to the component/material.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customers remain highly satisfied.
- Business Development: Recognize and analyze customer purchasing patterns in order to better anticipate customer needs, develop potential and new business opportunities with customers and end-users outside of the company's current customer list, and grow the customer base.
- Travel and Conferences: Attend conferences that will aide in development of business relations with new and existing customers, and conduct onsite visits with customers to improve relationships and expand on the company's core competencies.
- Inventory Pricing and Management: Work with the Sales leadership and Product Line teams to ensure inventory is appropriately priced in regard to the current market.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with customers and representatives of internal departments, participate in the development of organizational and operational excellence by upholding company policies and procedures, and demonstrating a level of professionalism and communication consistent with the expectations of the position.
Requirements:
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and ability to facilitate sales involving a high degree of technical understanding.
- Company Knowledge: Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
- Communication Skills: Strong skill in verbal and written communication, strong skills in presenting information and effective communication.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Skill in problem solving and decision making/analysis.
- Goal Setting and Achievement: Ability to set goals and determine intermediary steps to achieve results and determined objectives.

- Flexibility and Multitasking: Ability to be flexible, self-directed, thorough, motivated, and multitask in stressful and fast-paced environment.
- Record Keeping and Organization: Ability to maintain records, review documents for accuracy, organize documents, calendar, and track matters.
- Relationship Building: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, coworkers, management, and others, develop and leverage relationships with customers, management, and co-workers in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Research and Analysis: Ability to research and analyze information and make recommendations to effectively determine pricing, sale conditions, and resulting information.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Ability to understand company and industry regulated Certification and Traceability requirements.
- Professionalism and Teamwork: Ability to demonstrate professionalism and a team-driven attitude.
- Education and Experience: Secondary school completion or equivalent required; some university preferred, minimum of three years of related Sales Experience required, experience in the aviation industry required, experience working with commercial aircraft component sales required.
